EnBW Showroom Design
The EnBW showroom—unique in both concept and design—was created by the RCA design duo Admir Jukanović and Martin Buschle.
The space is intentionally neutral, ensuring it remains visually engaging even when no exhibitions are taking place. A key feature of the concept is the use of Corian walls combined with a backlit LED media wall. When needed, the otherwise minimal white surfaces can be activated for dynamic visual content.
In its default state (outside exhibition periods), the installation displays a “light mirror,” capturing and projecting passersby in real time onto the wall, creating an interactive urban experience. During exhibitions, however, the walls remain clean, white, and free of digital content to maintain focus on the displayed works.
Additional concealed walls are integrated between the storefront windows and can be extended along ceiling-mounted tracks when required, allowing for flexible spatial configurations. The Corian ceilings and walls subtly open to emit soft, diffused light, enhancing the showroom’s atmospheric quality.
